Les Valsquier
Once referred to as a "colorful local sailing personality", Les has spent 25
years in recreational marine, 20 years in sales and marketing, and did a six
year stint in high-tech as an IT manager for a NW software company.
Accomplishments
Appliance Connection: Les helped build an appliance store chain from
the ground up, managing the sales and marketing during the explosive growth from
the original three-man store up to a four store and central warehouse chain
employing dozens.
Skipper: From hired racing hand and skipper; deliveries to skippered
cruising, Les has worked on sailboats for over 20 years.
Yacht Broker: Often referred to as the "multihull evangelist", Les
Valsquier was instrumental in bringing the Corsair F-boats to the Pacific
Northwest. Over ten years as a yacht broker representing 13 brands of new
sailboats, Les helped hundreds of sailors realize their dreams.
Inflatable boats: As operations manager, and later an owner and VP of
R&D, Les managed the transformation of "Real Value Distribution" into today's
